Our Support Team

Maureen Gurney

I joined Highcroft Vets in May 2010 as a part time Accounts Manager having previously worked in a NVQ training centre in Eastbourne. I am a qualified Accounting Technician and I passed my AAT exams in June 2008.

My border collie keeps me very busy and we both enjoy our long walks on the downs near to our home, (even in the winter). Other hobbies include music and watching football.

Sue Williams

I took a position at Highcroft in 2004 because I love working alongside caring and dedicated people. In my spare time I enjoy browsing antique shops, visiting art exhibitions and National Trust properties, where there is always such delicious food I just have to try it! I am also a happy gardener and will be found most days gardening boots on, secateurs in hand, come rain or shine.

Trish Criddle

Head Client Care Manager

I joined Highcroft in October 2002 as a part time Client Care Manager, becoming full time in February 2007. I really enjoy the variety that working in reception gives, meeting and talking to our lovely clients, getting to know them and their animals. It’s nice being a part of the local community.

In my spare time I love to read and enjoy walking and cycling. I have five animals of my own, three cats and two dogs, most of them acquired through working at Highcroft! They are all great fun and a big part of the family that includes a husband and two sons.

Alison Cook

I joined Highcroft as part of the Client Care team in December 2016, and feel very fortunate to work alongside such genuinely caring professionals, and to get to know our clients and their lovely pets. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband our two children and crazy Spaniel, going on country walks and making the most of our local coastline. I am a keen cyclist and have cycled the C2C route (west coast to east coast) raising money for Cancer Research UK, and I enjoy getting out on my road bike whenever I can.
