Changes to our Out of Hours service

We have made an important change to how we provide an out-of-hours service, for those times your pet may need emergency veterinary care at night, over the weekend or on bank holidays, when our practice is closed.

At Highcroft Veterinary Group we know your pets are part of your family and our priority is, and always will be, to ensure they have access to the very best care no matter what time of day or night it is.

For this reason, we have partnered with Vets Now, a dedicated out-of-hours pet emergency service that will provide expert emergency care for your pet when we are closed.

Vets Now is the pet equivalent of Accident and Emergency and the leading provider of pet emergency care in the UK. Based at more than 50 locations nationwide, their vets and vet nurses respond to half-a-million pet emergencies every year.

Moreover, their veterinary teams are specially trained in emergency and critical care and only work out of hours, through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays. That means they are ready and waiting to see you and your pet whether it's in the early hours of the morning or halfway through Sunday lunch.

What does this mean for you?

·       During our normal opening hours, there will be no change in our service. We will continue to provide you and your pet with the high standards of veterinary care that you expect.

·       If your pet falls ill, call the normal surgery number to speak to us.

·       However if we are closed, you will be given the number for the Vets Now team who will happy to talk through your concerns.

·       If you need to visit them Vets Now can be found at 6 St. Anne's Road, Eastbourne, BN21 2DJ

We believe this new partnership with VetsNow , which starts on 15th May, offers you and your pet the best level of care both day and night. If you have any questions about this new service, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
