I joined the Highcroft Vets Reception Team after moving to East Sussex at the beginning of 2024. I had previously worked in several vet practices since 2016 across Surrey and London and have always had customer service jobs (but I especially enjoy meeting new pets every day and learning about medical conditions as I have a keen interest in Biology).
Working in a vet surgery doesn't always feel like 'work' as every new day brings new experiences and new things to learn!
It's so important to me to try and cater to each individual client's needs and to help and support clients in any situation. A highlight of my day would be knowing that I have made someone else's day better by helping in some way.
I have a rescue cat called Otto who I adopted after he was handed in as a stray with a broken leg at one of my old practices. Otto is an energetic cat who certainly keeps me on my toes and at age 8, he is just as playful as he was when he was a kitten.
I love a cheeky little terrier and always get excited when there's a Jack Russell in the building!
When I'm not behind the front desk, I can usually be found at the beach with my husband taking a walk, at home gaming, reading, cooking or colouring or spending time with my family.
