I first came to work in Hailsham straight from the RVC in 1984, moved away to work in Gloucestershire and Kent for a few years before returning in 1990, and was then given the opportunity to take over the practice when Maurice Polley retired.
I have been very lucky to be doing a job I enjoy, treating pets, (as well as horses and farm animals for many years), with a team of great nurses and vets, and with some lovely clients, many of whom I can call friends.
Outside of work, I love to ski, play golf about twice a year (mainly as an excuse to catch up with old friends), and although I don’t play any more I like to stay involved at Hellingly Rugby Club. Walking the dogs, enjoying the beautiful Sussex countryside, watching films at the wonderful Hailsham Pavilion, and trying to keep track of what my family is doing, all give me plenty to do.
