I have been working at Highcroft Vets for 2 years now as part of the client care team. I really enjoy my role at Highcroft and look forward to coming to work. The thing I enjoy the most is getting to know the clients and their pets and giving them the best experience when they come to us. Some clients even just pop in with their dogs when they are walking past to see us. I like to make sure that clients are booked in for regular appointments like vaccines and health checks, so I know they are getting the best treatment for their pets.
As a member of the client care team I feel it's important to support pets and their owners as we are the first and last point of contact so it's important they feel comfortable as soon as they walk through the door, I feel I have good communication and deep empathy and remain calm as some situations can be stressful and emotional for the owners.
I look after my daughter's dog when I'm not at work; she is a cavapoo called Lola. I enjoy taking her for long walks and just having her with me for company. I also enjoy reading, meeting friends and family and going out for a lovely roast.
